The ArcDemo Chrome extension captures any web app as an interactive demo while you click through it: as screenshots, editable HTML, a free-roam sandbox or a narrated video. It is for anyone who demos a browser-based product, from product marketers to sales engineers.

## What you can do

- Four capture types from one extension: screenshot, HTML, sandbox and video.
- Records a tab, a window or the whole screen, with an optional camera bubble.
- Checks that a page can be captured before you start, so a recording doesn't fail halfway.
- Lets you review screenshots and drop the ones you don't want before anything uploads.
- Starts a capture from the right-click menu, or adds new steps to an existing demo.

## How it works

1. **Install the extension.** Install the ArcDemo extension in Chrome and sign in to your workspace.
2. **Pick a capture type.** Choose screenshot, HTML, sandbox or video, then click through your product as you normally would.
3. **Review and upload.** Remove any steps you don't need, then send the capture to the editor to add guidance and share it.

## Which plans include it

## Questions

### Does the ArcDemo extension work on any website?

It works on web apps you can open in Chrome. Browser-internal pages such as the Chrome Web Store and settings pages can't be captured by any extension.

### Can I capture a desktop app with the extension?

The extension can record a desktop app's window as video. For clickable steps from a native Mac app, use the ArcDemo macOS recorder.
